Hidden Files/Folder not showing

Some time when you select the option "Show Hidden Files" system is not displaying the hidden files/folder, when you recheck the option its reactivated the "Don't Show hidden Files". To get rid from this issue follow these steps on your machine.


1. Click Start--->Run -->type regedit and press OK or hit Enter key.
2. Navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advan ced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL

3. Now right click on "CheckedValue" in right pane and delete the same

4. Create a new DWORD Value and put name as "CheckedValue" in the right pane.Double click on CheckedValue and set "Value data:" to 1

5. Press OK/hit Enter Key. exit regedit and restart your pc.
